Miner Street Band

The Miner Street Band came together in the early 1970’s up in Canton, New York. The band functions today as an organic Blues collective with a fluid interchange of musicians, most sharing the influence of the northcountry soil around St Lawrence University between ’67 & ’77.

There are vintage, virtuoso strains in this group: howling harmonica & ripe guitar tonalities flow in conversational surprise.  In the service of Blues feeling, the band explores the dark alleys of Soul and the dusty flats of Country with a transporting sensitivity & wisdom.
